On 9th October, a Covid Memorial event was held in Abington Park, supported by Northampton Town Council, to remember those who died during the Covid epidemic, and to give thanks to the front-line workers in the NHS. All the faith communities were represented, and made different contributions, including prayer readings, chanting, singing, dancing and drumming. Everyone was invited to write a message of hope on a ribbon and to tie it round the Covid Memorial tree. It was a beautiful sunny day, and the event was a positive experience for everyone present.
