On 24th April an interfaith group, representing the different faiths in Northampton, met at the Church of the Latter-Day Saints for a service of prayer and reflection to mark the forthcoming Coronation of Their Majesties, King Charles III and Queen Camilla. The event was graced by the presence of the Deputy Lord Lieutenant, Mrs Suzy Van Rooyen. Prayers were said in English, Sanskrit, Pali and Punjabi, and extracts on the theme of kingship were read from a range of different scriptural traditions. It was a lovely occasion.
